There are several ways to advertise to weekend travelers, here are a few of our favorites:

  1. Online advertising: Mainly Google Ads, TravelAds, Sojern, and flip.to. For boutique hotels we love to utilize social media platforms and travel websites to reach travelers. Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google can target users based on their travel interests and behaviors.
  2. Influencer marketing: This is becoming more popular and effective when you partner with travel influencers to reach a large and engaged audience. These influencers can promote your hotel and restaurant on their social media channels. We’ve found that it’s best to outline exactly what you’ll receive from the influencer with their stay (photography, number of posts, etc).
  3. Email marketing: Build a list of email subscribers who have shown interest in traveling, and send them targeted promotions and offers.
  4. Content marketing: Create valuable and informative content (such as blog posts, videos, and guides on your booking website) that appeals to travelers and helps position your brand as a trusted resource.
  5. Referral marketing: Encourage happy customers to refer their friends and family to your business. Offer incentives for successful referrals.
